Echotel

Echotel was established in 2010 as a South African corporate Internet Service Provider that has since expanded, through acquisitions funded through our growth capital, to seven other countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. The business initially focused on services South African high-end Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) clients, and through the acquisition of the SSA business, Gondwana, is now able to service cross-border multinationals.

In South Africa, Echotel provides its Information and Communications Technology (ICT) services through an aggregation of third party networks. This is a unique position, allowing Echotel to leverage over 60 partners through interconnect agreements to aggregate data connectivity, internet, virtual private networks, and security and cloud services.

Through Gondwana, Echotel provides wireless, terrestrial and satellite communication services across the business' SSA regions through end-to-end Service Level Agreements.
